An excellent site. Having just started to restore my GT, this is a site I will need to refer back to time & time again. I need to replace both my rear lower wing. Looks scary!!
I''ll be back!

Hi

I hope that this information is useful to all fellow Classic Car enthusiasts.

Take a look at

www.restoredclassic.cjb.net

which is a website which lists Classic Car Restoration Courses at local Further Education Colleges in the UK.

The courses are either Full Time (2/3 days per week) or Part Time ( evenings and/or weekends) where students will be able to learn about welding (MIG,TIG,Oxy-Acetylene and Spot ),chassis/body repairs, sheet metal fabrication , spray painting and lots more.

Well worth a visit ?

Why not tell your colleagues about it?

Your account of the restoration project is fascinating - and a very nice piece of writing, too.

I had a ''TC'' years ago- and now, in my old age, I have a hankering for a ''B''. Looking for a LHD roadster that doesn''t need too much body work. I am fairly happy about tackling the oily bits, but I think it is a little late in life to take up welding!

Hope you get your mechanical bits sorted out OK, and thanks for the website.

Greetings from across the pond. So glad I found your website. Had a Midget back in the 70''s that I had restored and just got a call from a friend of my sisters asking me to tow away her ex''s mid 60''s B convertible. Looking forward to the restoration (not really, but the end result is worth it). Will share more as my project unfolds. Thanks.

Hi------ Thought I would sign in again as you had some host problems. As I said before---you have a VERY nice site for all to view and use. i noticed you are going to put an O/D transmission in. I might be of some help if you would be in need of it,----- just drop me a line if so. Hang in there---- you look GOOD!!!!

Enjoyed reading the technical tips on your website. My husband and I just purchased the ''66 MGB to restore. Our dilema right now is trying to decide how to get started. This car needs some work (from what we can see), not sure how bad things are once we pull the fenders off and take apart the doors. We know we need to replace the entire floor pan and the lower part of the doors on the outside has rust on it. Your site was a tremendous help in how to get started. My husband and I both plan to do most of the work ourselves (pray for my husband he will be teaching me), I know a little about cars, but, nothing about restoring them, he has done some restoration work in the past.
